The village itself is small and scattered around the bay. Turunc is hemmed by a high hill covered in pines trees that bring a coolness to the seaside. Although it is always sunny it is not that hot. Turunc is one of the indispensable stops on the Blue Cruise. Turunc boasts having “The Blue Flag”, which is being given by international organisations to coves that have the clean water, environment and beaches with necessary infrastructure for yachting.
In Turunç there are more attractions than just sea and sun. If you want to have more enjoyable trip out of Turunc, Jeep safari tours will be the best way of it. If you are interested in diving Turunc is again for you. Other water sports include water skiing, ringo and banana boats, parasailing, canoing and water cycling, jet ski, Fun Boat and Power Boat. Daily boat cruises to the nearby coves are also available. Most of the restaurants border the beach. A few bars and restaurants farther back from the water’s edge offer fresh fish and superb views.
